Renew Your U.S. Passport in Panama

This process takes between 3 to 4 weeks. The price does not include the $130.00 payment to the U.S. government. The price does include the $23.24 payment to DHL.

Passports can now be renewed online - but only from the U.S. and its territories. The online renewal system does not work from Panama. This is how we renew your U.S. passport in Panama:

1. You provide us with your old passport (and passport cards, if you have them) and one passport photo (2x2 inches, taken within the last 6 months, no glasses). This photo can be taken at any Arrocha pharmacy.

2. We fill out the application form and assist you with paying the $130.00 passport fee with you over the phone.

3. We print the application form and put it, along with the photo, your old passport, payment confirmation, three copies of a pre-paid ($23.24) DHL airway bill, and a DHL envelope inside of a manilla envelope.

4. We deliver everything to the U.S. Embassy in Panama on Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.

5. You old and new passports will be delivered to our offices by DHL.
